# Expanded SKU Research Framework

## Objective
The catalogue is deliberately open-ended. 200 SKUs are the first research universe, not a commercial ceiling. Expand to 500+ where additional products represent genuine differentiation.

## Inclusion rule
A candidate earns a place when it contributes at least one meaningful dimension: distinct form factor, stimulation mechanism, use case, price tier, technology, material/ergonomics, couples use, travel/discreetness, accessory compatibility, or bundle utility.

## Research sequence
1. Discover supplier listings and exact model identifiers.
2. Deduplicate visually and functionally similar products.
3. Capture supplier, factory/brand, MOQ, price tiers, certifications/documentation claims, customization options and marketplace signal.
4. Benchmark against Indian retail pricing and positioning.
5. Assess import/classification/regulatory questions before procurement.
6. Sample promising candidates rather than relying on listing claims.
7. Score samples on quality, ergonomics, materials, noise, battery/charging, waterproofing where claimed, packaging, documentation, supplier reliability and landed economics.
8. Promote only verified winners into the launch assortment.

## Assortment architecture
Maintain a large research universe while keeping the live store curated. The website should be able to accommodate 200, 500 or more candidates without redesigning the underlying catalogue model.

## Current status
The live research catalogue contains 200 candidates across ten families. These are research candidates, not yet approved commercial SKUs. Supplier photographs and exact model identities should be attached only after matching and verification.
